Intuit Local Business Grant – Help Us Win!
Insomnia Coffee has an opportunity to win a local business grant from the creators of QuickBooks, Intuit. But we need your help. Every vote tells Intuit how much of a community oriented business we really are.
We’d love to have a grant to invest in updated equipment (even tastier lattes…is that even possible??) and comfier, sturdier furniture (imagine that!). And if we are fortunate enough to win, we’d donate a portion of the grant to a local charitable organization.
So this is where you, our dear friends, come in…two ways to vote for free: text and online. Tell Intuit how much you love Insomnia Coffee and they may even award extra grant $$ based solely on voter comments! Votes must be placed in the month of June.
Thanks friends!
February Artists – Pam Wilkinson and David Bardes
For those who haven’t noticed the changing artwork on our walls at both shops, we refresh the spaces each month with new, local artists’ wares. Right now we’re honored to showcase David Bardes @Tanasbourne and Pam Wilkinson @Baseline…here’s a little sampling. Come by to see more.

New Additions to Tanasbourne
Well, we’ve been constantly adding “character” to our new Tanasbourne location. Our original location, the Baseline shop, has plenty of our quirk factor but Tanasbourne has still been pretty stark…until recently. Today we’ve unveiled even two more additions to Tanasbourne: our Insomnia Community Table and our piano. The community table is equipped with power strips for convenient laptop accessibility. Come by and check ‘em out!
Chris Lord shows @ Tanasbourne
Our featured Artist for the month of January is none other than Chris Lord:
About the Artist, Chris Lord
“ The desire to capture vibrant fall colors prompted me to take pastel classes in recent years. I’m continuing with oil painting, which I had taken when getting my graphic design degree from Portland State University.
I often enjoy creating a scene where a person can picture themselves experiencing the sight like sitting on the wicker furniture under a willow tree or sipping a drink while on the beach in Puerto Vallarta.” – CL
