It’s the little things that thrill us the most around here.  Something as simple as Pumpkin sauce makes many of our customers lose all self-control.  It’s just so darn delicious!  Our Pumpkin Chai is the most requested drink all year, yet we only have access to Pumpkin sauce during the fall.  So now’s the time to enjoy it!

Electrical inspection…check.  Plumbing inspection…check.  Building inspection…check.  Health inspection…check.  Looks like we’ve made it, folks!

Last minute touches and we’ll be opening the doors at 6am, this Monday!  This is not a test; this is the real deal.  Come on by to check out our new location.  Help us break in the furniture.

Friends…We’re excited to say we’re getting much closer to our Tanasbourne opening date. We’re in the throws of building and health inspections, decorating and tying up loose ends so early next week we’ll be open for business. Stay tuned for an actual WE’RE OPEN announcement…or maybe you’ll just hear our jubilant screams when the time has arrived!

Friends, we weren’t looking forward to announcing this. . .but our Tanasbourne shop open date has been pushed back due to all the contractors needing more time than forecasted.  Wah wah.  Bummer!

But here’s to all the details falling into place and our opening on August 26th!  Huzzah!

We are announcing our target opening date for our new location @ Tanasbourne:  *drumroll* August 16th!  Hopefully all the contractors, plumbers, painters and electricians will have completed their part and we’ll be able to officially open the doors on that Monday.

Wow.  We have one month and a million things on our to-do list!  Let’s get crackin!

Friends, we finally have what we’ve been waiting on for so long…BUILDING PERMITS!  This means our second location is kicking into high gear.  Pretty soon we’ll have walls built, a bar set up, wood flooring installed, chandeliers hanging, equipment running…  Oh my, our “to-do” list is quite long!  But we wanted to share our joy with you.  Whenever you have a moment, swing by our new place and peek in the windows…now that we have the permits, you’ll start to see progress!  And keep checking back here.  Soon we’ll announce our target open date!  Yay!

We like to think we’re doing things the right way.  And then when SOMEONE ELSE says we are, we start to really believe it!  Recently, Marah Creative, Portland’s experts in marketing/social media, highlighted us as a coffee shop doing things the right way, specifically with social media and our website (which we think is awesome, thanks to our web designer Paula!).  We really take social media seriously as it is a tangible way to reach out and communicate with our customers/friends…it’s a way to create and maintain our community feel.
