Welcome to one of  Hillsboro’s premier venues for the live indie music scene! We have had the privilege of hosting some of the northwest’s best musicians- not to mention acts from all over the world!  We strive as a venue to have a place where musicians can share their music much like an artist displays their work. One of our  desires is to encourage a feel of originality and style with the artist we book. Open mics are usually set up every other month to give a chance to local songwriters to try out a new tune or two! Most of our shows are free admission but we strongly suggest tips to the musicians so that we can continue to support them in their efforts to entertain and inspire our community. The shows usually start @ 9pm on both Friday and Saturday nights. This is a Family environment and all ages are welcome to our establishment.

Insomnia is also host to Hillsboro park and recreation’s “Java Rock Cafe”. This is from Sept thru May on first and third friday. Please see calender for more details!
